Alright place

Paid well for full time, part time not so much. Not much work and life balance. Wish there was more balance between the two because you get burnt out and overworked.

Fun work environment but not a long term job!!!

It's the fact that you may work here for 2-3 years in the same sales associate position because they do a lot of lying and say they will help you become a manger but have to pull teeth and nail to even get a promotion. You are most likely not gonna get any of the shoes anyway cause there is an employee to customers ratio were you can only get 20% or any 24 case box of shoes so if all the managers want it which is gonna be 89% of the time it's pointless.

Pros

Shoes and discount, employees or usually cool

Cons

Short staffed and very under paid

Good for college students

Very low pay unless management. Was not properly trained. Horrible upper management. It was not somewhere that you can make a living from. Be prepared to work a second job.

Fun and active place to work

Get to know your costumes needs and want, then help suggest useful products that will help with whatever they are interested in. For there you build relationship with different type of costumes.

Pros

Different kind of experience, Discount, events, sport events etc…

No

Treated employees like numbers and micromanage up the. they don't know how to take peoples lives into account when doing a job because their more focused on making money then having high quality service.

easy work but thankless

the store is so understocked its extremely difficult to sell anything Customers are often rude and unruly Cares more about Data collection and reviews then paying and taking care of employees

Can be fun if you make it

With them changing the pay to minimum wage it completely changed the culture in all stores for the worst, it puts more on management as they struggle to find good people who will work for 7.25

Chill workplace that can get hectic.

cool workplace with nice people but the management and pay is so bad, very unorganized management and the benefits for items at the store is nothing unless you are a store manager.

Cons

Pay, managment, hours

Great place

Best place to work I loved it good coworkers covid free only bad thing was the bathroom smell like pure you know what other then that the pay is good too

Sucky place to work at

The DM in South Coast was trash would never work at this company ever again what do you recommend anyone work there trash the place to work and as soon as they wanna hire new people they fired the older people pay them less

Fun experience

Pretty basic entry-level sales position. If you have an interest in going into sales one day, then this type of job would be a perfect starting point. The management were all people I had previously known.

Fun

Footlocker was cool. Fun job if you like sneakers. I would highly recommend it if you do. The discount on shoes was nice also. Nice little retail job to do

Cool Job for teenagers

It's a fun job if you just looking looking to get paid a few extra bucks, especially if you're high school/college. Wouldn't recommend if you looking for a job that pays well.

Pros

Discount, shoes, coworkers, customers

Eh

The company took away commission during a pandemic, if you're a pt you will barley touch a good release. Pay is so garbage & the only thing good is the 50% discount 3x a year. coworkers were chill managers yuck

Hours and pay could be better

The hours will work if you're a high school student or not in need of money. If you're expecting a good paying job this is not it in the slightest. Nonetheless, it is a good work environment and you make good friendships along the way.

Cons

Insufficient hours and pay

Sueldo

El sueldo en footlocker es minimo sin ningun tipo de beneficio

high energy work place

working there is very enjoyable. there are some rasict and insensitive comments to some of the minorities in the work place. higher ups are very demanding and pushing for alot more despite thee current pandemic. other than that in store mangers are understandable and friendly.

Pros

raffles, health benefits

Cons

no break unless full shift, very draining if you are outcome motivated

Virtual Internship was excellent

The culture there was great. I learned a lot despite it being virtual, so me and another intern missed out on the face to face interaction of the experience, but we still learned a lot. I also learned that meetings were very intense and frequent for someone in this position haha. The Security team is great, and getting a chance to talk and converse with the CEO is something I never thought would happen. It wasn't all work also; we did games and more during the virtual internship as well, so that was great. Wish it was a little more hands-on, but I understand being wary out of an intern breaking something virtually haha.

Fun workplace depending on team and coworkers

It can be a fun work environment depending on who you work with. Put pay is terrible for working so hard all day and management barely looks out for you for advancement.

Cons

low pay; short breaks
